Prague, Wednesday 15 May 2013
Apartments Lenka, St Wenceslas Square

It's a very long way but we're here!  Our brains are cactus so we won't be writing much tonight.

The trip went smoothly but the stop-over in Dubai was a real pain, sitting around from before midnight until 9am to continue to Prague.  As usual when they couldn't think of anything else to do, they brought us another meal.  So when we arrived in Prague in beautiful warm sunshine at about 1pm today we were not in the least hungry. (Rob wanted to say, "far from Hungary"!)

Fortunately our luggage also arrived safely and we emerged to see a man holding up a card with our name on it.  He brought us straight to our apartment which is far from flash but has everything we need, is affordable, is on Wenceslas Square and its balcony overlooks the courtyard.
A two hour nap hasn't been enough to get us functioning properly so we're having an early night and will start exploring in earnest tomorrow.  The little we've seen so far looks really exciting.  Weather perfect, food very inexpensive and the surroundings picturesque, almost beyond words.

We're about 8 hours behind AEST here writing just after 9pm so you're all fast asleep and we'll head that way too.
